Ali Daniels took the impactful photograph showing 5-year-old Liam Conejo Ramos. The child was captured in the photo wearing a Spider-Man backpack and a blue knit hat adorned with bunny ears. He and his father were detained by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents in Columbia Heights, Minnesota, earlier in the year.

People protested against ICE and marched toward the South Texas Family Residential Center, where Liam was held on January 28 in Dilley, Texas, highlighting the ongoing dialogue around immigration policies.
