Pete Hegseth: U.S. Defense Secretary and Veteran

Pete Hegseth is currently serving as the U.S. Defense Secretary under President Donald Trump’s administration. His appointment marked the beginning of Trump’s second term in office. Hegseth was officially sworn in on January 25, 2025, with Vice President JD Vance overseeing the ceremony.
