North Carolina Judge Orders Arrest for Bill Belichick’s Daughter-in-law

A North Carolina judge has ordered the arrest of Bill Belichick’s daughter-in-law, Jen Belichick, following her alleged failure to appear in court for a speeding violation. Reports indicate that she did not attend her scheduled court appearance related to the incident.

Jen Belichick, married to Steve Belichick, who is the defensive coordinator for the North Carolina Tar Heels football team, was stopped by the North Carolina State Highway Patrol on May 21. The citation was for allegedly driving at 88 mph in a 70 mph zone in Brunswick County, according to court records referenced by the California Post.

She faced a misdemeanor speeding charge and was due in court last Friday. Her absence resulted in the court issuing an arrest order. A court representative stated that she has three alternatives: file a motion to recall the arrest order, hire an attorney to represent her, or surrender to authorities.

Jen has not publicly responded to the arrest order. Attempts to contact a Brunswick County clerk for comments by Fox News Digital were unsuccessful.

Jen and Steve Belichick have been married for around a decade and have children together. There have been reports of friction between Jen Belichick and Bill Belichick’s girlfriend, Jordon Hudson. Issues reportedly arose when Hudson cut off an interview question during Bill Belichick’s CBS News appearance in May 2025, leading to a confrontation in the Tar Heels head coach’s office.
