Nicole Scherzinger, well-known for leading the Pussycat Dolls, offered fans insight into the realities of her glamorous life. Recently, she shared contrasting images on Instagram. One photo showed her backstage, looking polished with voluminous dark waves and glamorous makeup, dressed in a black sports bra and gray sweatpants. The following image revealed injuries on her leg, including extensive red marks and healing burns.
On September 26, during a performance in Düsseldorf, Germany, boiling water fell on Scherzinger’s leg about an hour before the show. Despite the pain, she chose to perform. She noted on Instagram Stories, “Nothing like boiling water falling on your leg an hour before your set. But the show must go on.” Her post invited praise from fans, with many calling her a “warrior.” Gloria Gaynor also offered encouragement.
Scherzinger continues to perform despite challenges. Recently, she performed in Dublin at 3Arena on October 5, alongside Ashley Roberts and Kimberly Wyatt. This performance marked approximately a week after the injury, and the group is scheduled to continue their tour in Glasgow, Newcastle, and Manchester, with a stop at London’s O2 Arena on October 13.
The “PCD Forever” tour signals the Pussycat Dolls’ return to major arenas. However, only three members of the original group participate in this reunion. Jessica Sutta, Carmit Bachar, and Melody Thornton are absent from the tour. Sutta addressed this absence, expressing her initial heartbreak, yet also praised the current trio for their performances.
Sutta, now focusing on her solo career, will release her new single, “Don’t Take Much,” on October 7. She expressed her belief that the group would benefit from the return of all original members.
