Indecent Incident on American Airlines Flight to Miami

Law enforcement met an American Airlines flight late Friday night at Miami International Airport after reports emerged of a female passenger undressing and behaving indecently during transit.

Flight 1779, originating from Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport, departed nearly two hours behind schedule. It took off just after 9 p.m. EDT on September 11, 2025, and landed in Miami at 11:23 p.m. EDT.

As the Airbus A319 headed to Florida, flight attendants alerted the cockpit crew to a disturbance with a passenger seated in row 9.

The unruly behavior of some passengers could lead to lifetime bans from multiple airlines under a new proposal.

ACARS logs show the lead flight attendant reported a female passenger in seat 9D undressed completely and performed indecent acts visible to others nearby. This incident was reported to American Airlines’ Integrated Operations Center. Law enforcement was requested to meet the flight upon arrival.

Despite the incident, the flight continued to Miami and arrived at Gate D2 in Terminal N without diverting. Law enforcement officers awaited at the gate, and the passenger was taken into custody.

It’s unclear what actions the cabin crew took during the flight to handle the situation.

Fox News Digital has asked for comments from American Airlines, the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office, and Miami International Airport.
