The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has refuted claims that Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents have been instructed to avoid arresting suspected illegal migrants who lack criminal charges. Contrary to media reports, DHS maintains that ‘no one is off the table.’
A report from the Daily Wire, citing ‘agency sources,’ suggested that ICE officers received orders to focus only on those illegal migrants with criminal convictions or charges. In response, DHS issued a statement via X, asserting: ‘This is false. No one is off the table. We will continue to arrest any and all illegal aliens that come into our path. Anyone in our country illegally will be arrested and deported.’
To enhance public safety, ICE has launched a nationwide operation targeting sanctuary cities. The initiative focuses on apprehending criminal illegal aliens, including those released by sanctuary policy supporters. The targets consist of individuals accused of serious offenses such as murder, rape, child predation, and gang involvement.
As the situation unfolds, further updates will follow.
