I didn’t know… That’s his business, and that’s what he wants to do… In terms of reaction, I’m still adjusting, bro. It’s hard. It’s exciting and hard at the same time, and whoever says it’s not, then you’re not human.”

This trade is transformative for both franchises. For Miami, they now possess a formidable defensive pairing with Giannis and Bam Adebayo. Bam, a three-time All-Star, boasts five second-team All-Defensive selections along with a first-team honor in 2024.

Milwaukee enters a new chapter with a revamped lineup. They will now rely on players like Kevin Porter Jr., sharpshooter Ryan Rollins, veteran wing Kyle Kuzma, and defensive specialist Myles Turner. Despite these additions, the team faces a challenging rebuild after a 32-win season and the departure of their decade-long franchise star.
