Drive-By Shooting Injures Three Men in Chicago’s Little Village

On Tuesday night, a drive-by shooting injured three men in the Little Village neighborhood on Chicago’s Southwest Side, according to police reports. The incident occurred shortly before 8:45 p.m. outside in the 2400 block of South Washtenaw Avenue.

Police stated that the victims were standing outside when a vehicle approached and someone inside the vehicle began shooting at them before speeding away.

A 27-year-old man sustained a gunshot wound to the head and was transported to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he remains in serious condition. Another victim, aged 21, also suffered a head wound and was taken to Stroger Hospital in serious condition. A third individual, 22 years old, received a leg wound and is listed in good condition at Mount Sinai Hospital.

Detectives are actively investigating the incident to gather more information.
