The Dallas Wings are set to relocate their home games to downtown Dallas next season. This move will position them in the same arena as the NBA’s Dallas Mavericks, the American Airlines Center (AAC). This venue can host up to 20,000 spectators.

Wings officials shared this decision on Monday. However, this arrangement is regarded as a temporary solution. The team has a 15-year agreement with the city of Dallas to eventually hold their home events in the renovated Dallas Memorial Auditorium. The refurbished venue, located close to the AAC, will offer 10,000 seats.

Construction at Dallas Memorial Auditorium has faced delays, prompting the temporary relocation. Dallas Wings CEO and managing partner Greg Bibb commented, “Today’s announcement marks a pivotal step in the team’s relocation to Dallas as well as our continued growth as a professional sports enterprise.”

Apart from the home court relocation, the team plans to move into a new $55 million training facility set to open in a Dallas neighborhood next April. Since their move to North Texas in 2016, the Wings have used the College Park Center at the University of Texas at Arlington for home games and practice sessions. This venue, located about 20 miles from downtown Dallas, accommodates 6,251 spectators.

In 2025, the Wings already played two regular-season games at the American Airlines Center. Their recent victory against the Chicago Sky last month further sparked interest in the venue. Fans can also look forward to two additional games scheduled there this season.
