WWE star Charlotte Flair expressed gratitude towards Indiana Pacers guard Tyrese Haliburton for his kind act towards a family in need. On Saturday night, Flair recognized Haliburton’s generosity during an appearance at Sports Illustrated Beyond the Pitch in New York City.

Haliburton contributed $10,000 to a GoFundMe campaign for the family of 8-year-old Scarlett Guillen. She recently passed away after battling Diffuse Midline Glioma, a rare and incurable brain cancer.

It really helped cover her funeral costs. I saw him tonight at the show and I was like, hey, thank you. You have no idea how much that meant to me, to the family. What a great guy, Flair stated.

Scarlett was a devoted fan of Flair. Their bond was highlighted in a segment before WrestleMania 42. In Scarlett’s honor, Flair sported butterfly-themed ring gear. Following Scarlett’s passing, Flair shared a heartfelt message on her social media account.

Haliburton’s participation in WrestleMania 42 further showed his support. He attended the event at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Flair’s message to Scarlett emphasized the impact the young girl had on her life:

Thank you for the light you brought into my life. You reminded all of us that a life isn’t measured by its length, but by the love it leaves behind, Flair began. Your light doesn’t end here.
