Body Found at Property Owned by Ayanna Pressley’s Husband: Family Confirms Safety

A body was discovered at a rental property owned by Conan Harris, husband of Democratic Representative Ayanna Pressley from Massachusetts.

The Boston Police Department confirmed to various news outlets, such as CBS News and Fox News Digital, that officers were called to the location on Saturday afternoon. Upon arrival, they found a deceased individual. The identity of the person has not been disclosed, and the homicide unit is now overseeing the investigation.

Property records viewed by CBS News indicate that the residence is situated on Malta Street in Boston’s Mattapan neighborhood, owned by Harris, who has been married to Pressley since 2014. The two-story rental home is valued at approximately $919,000.

Harris addressed the situation via Facebook on Saturday, reassuring the public of his family’s safety. He stated, “Thank you Everyone for the care and concern, our family is safe. My heart goes out to the family that lost a loved one today in Mattapan.”

A spokesperson for Representative Pressley shared her condolences with the family affected by the loss, conveying, “The Congresswoman extends her deepest condolences to the impacted family.”
