Customers at an In-N-Out Burger in Tempe, Arizona, were caught in chaos when a violent fight broke out among a group of teenagers. The altercation, which took place around 7 p.m. on Monday, prompted terrified diners to seek safety.

The Tempe Police Department confirmed to Fox News Digital that officers responded to the incident. However, those involved had already fled the scene, both on foot and in vehicles.

A video from inside the restaurant shows teenagers throwing punches and tackling each other to the ground, while frightened patrons hurriedly moved out of harm’s way. At the time, many customers were inside the restaurant due to an ongoing monsoon storm, as reported by FOX 10 Phoenix.

A follow-up investigation has been launched after police interviewed witnesses and employees. The exact reason for the fight remains undisclosed, and inquiries have been made with the California-based chain for a statement.

This incident is reminiscent of a similar brawl that occurred in May inside a Chipotle restaurant in Washington, D.C. During that altercation, teenagers dressed in all black, some hooded and masked, were seen engaging in physical violence, leaving bystanders scrambling for safety.
