AEW Dynamite Pays Tribute to Pac

The atmosphere was somber at the start of All Elite Wrestling’s “Dynamite” on Wednesday as the company and its roster paid homage to Pac, who passed away over the weekend at the age of 40. Known off-stage as Benjamin Satterley, Pac died on Sunday shortly after AEW’s All Out pay-per-view event.

Gathered on stage, wrestlers listened as broadcaster Tony Schiavone delivered heartfelt remarks about Pac. He highlighted a moving promo from Jon Moxley, which occurred after Moxley lost an AEW World Championship match to Will Ospreay at the pay-per-view event. In this segment, Moxley stood with his Death Riders teammates—Marina Shafir, Daniel Garcia, Wheeler Yuta, and Pac—marking Pac’s final appearance on AEW cameras.

“I gave everything I had. I took every shot I had to the best of my ability. I have no regrets,” Moxley stated. “Will Ospreay is indomitable. It’s just part of the game. You’re gonna lose. You have to learn how to lose, in wrestling and in life. Things won’t always go your way, but every day is a gift.”

Moxley continued, expressing gratitude for the support and experiences he shares with his friends and fans. He reflected on the significance of being in the ring and described it as the best job in the world.

“Every day is a gift. Will, you won tonight. You were the better man. Seeing what we have and what we can be in pro wrestling is a privilege we should cherish,” he said.

After delivering his message, Moxley left the ring, followed by Shafir, Wheeler, and Garcia. Pac, standing quietly at the side with his arms crossed, eventually joined them as well.

As the night continued, Moxley defended the AEW Continental Championship against Orange Cassidy. A chair was left empty in honor of Pac as Moxley made his entrance. Moxley retained his title with a victory over Cassidy. Following the match, Bryan Danielson entered the ring, visibly emotional. Despite their history of intense rivalry, Danielson and Moxley shared a hug in the ring, setting aside differences to honor Pac.
