Judge Judy Sheindlin is stepping back from television as she prepares to retire from her on-camera career. Known for her outspoken approach, Judge Judy will conclude her Prime Video series “Judy Justice” in October.

Despite retiring from TV, Sheindlin remains active in the entertainment world. She has announced a new courtroom program called “Adam’s Law,” which premieres in national syndication on September 14. She serves as the executive producer of the show, starring her son, Adam Levy.

Adam Levy, a graduate of Hofstra Law School, has built a diverse career. He transitioned from serving as the Putnam County, N.Y. District Attorney to working in television on the show “Tribunal Justice.” Sheindlin expresses confidence in his ability to hold audiences’ attention.

Sheindlin’s career started in 1972 when she handled juvenile crime, domestic violence, and child-abuse cases as a prosecutor. Later, she became widely recognized for the popular syndicated show “Judge Judy,” which aired from 1996 to 2021.

“I have a lot of other things of interest,” Sheindlin said. “I don’t want to do hair and makeup anymore, but I still want my message to get out there.”

Her impact extends beyond entertainment; she has inspired viewers through her decisive personality. On numerous occasions, women have expressed gratitude for providing strength and courage in personal decisions.

Sarah Rose, Sheindlin’s granddaughter, reveals her grandmother’s softer side. She shares life lessons Sheindlin has imparted, emphasizing self-definition and confidence.

“You have to define yourself, and you tell other people who you are. Not the other way around,” Sarah Rose said.

Rose admires her grandmother’s supportive nature. Despite her TV persona, Sheindlin proves to be a problem solver and a loving grandmother.
