Hayden Panettiere, renowned for her performances in ‘Heroes’ and ‘Nashville,’ has died at the age of 36. Her father issued a statement expressing deep sorrow at her passing. He described her as an incredible light and force of nature who brought love and joy to many.

“It is with profound sadness that we share the tragic passing of our beloved Hayden,” her father said. He also requested privacy for the family during this challenging time.

The cause of her death is currently unknown.

Panettiere leaves behind her daughter, Kaya, whom she shared with her former partner, Ukrainian boxer Wladimir Klitschko.

In May 2026, Panettiere published her memoir ‘This Is Me: A Reckoning.’ She detailed her journey from child stardom to adult fame and addressed personal struggles including postpartum depression, alcoholism, and an abusive relationship.

Her brother, Jansen Panettiere, also an actor, passed away in 2023 at age 28.
