In Greenburgh, New York, actor Ben Stiller offered to take a photo with Mike Brown’s wife. This came after New York Knicks coach Mike Brown mentioned that his wife was hesitant to ask for a picture during an event.
Stiller, a dedicated Knicks fan, was present on the court in Cleveland. This event marked the Knicks’ first trip to the NBA Finals since 1999. Brown’s wife, Ro, noticed Stiller and alerted her husband. Brown recounted the moment, saying, “I don’t think I’ve ever met Ben, but he was over there and she was like, ‘Ben’s over there!’” He encouraged her to take a picture, assuring her Stiller would likely oblige. However, Mrs. Brown felt too shy to approach.
Stiller later responded to a video of Brown’s comments. On social media platform X, he made a generous offer. “I am available for any picture any time with any member of Mike Brown’s immediate or extended family or friends,” he wrote. Stiller expressed his appreciation for Brown taking the Knicks to the Finals in his first year.
Brown shared his experiences with some of the Knicks’ famous fans. He mentioned getting acquainted with director Spike Lee and musician Fat Joe. Brown noted that Fat Joe, who was also in Cleveland, once offered him advice on better footwear. Fat Joe even took a picture with Brown’s stepson, much to his delight.
