Discovering animal waste on your rooftop is never pleasant. Few would consider it a sign of good fortune or a reason to try their luck with lottery tickets. Surprisingly, finding droppings on your roof can sometimes lead to unexpected wildlife encounters.
Bill Dabney from Pasadena experienced this firsthand. He noticed feces on the roof of his guest house, which ultimately led to a startling face-off with a mountain lion. Sharing his ordeal with KABC-TV, Dabney described seeing four distinct stools on his roof. While numerology suggests varied meanings from such occurrences, in Dabney’s situation, these signs hinted at immediate danger rather than uncovering misplaced belongings.
As Dabney examined the droppings, he suddenly noticed a mountain lion watching him from a short distance. The idea of the feline being the culprit behind the feces seems plausible. It is hard to imagine anyone having such an encounter without some connection between the signs and the feline presence.
The mountain lion was unapproachable, and Dabney wisely decided to leave the vicinity quickly. His instinct was right, as he ran for safety.
Days after the incident, another sighting of a mountain lion was reported nearby. The exact identity of this second lion remains unclear, but further deposits on rooftops could reveal its identity.
While mountain lion encounters are rare, Dabney’s experience reminds us that signs from nature can point to something remarkable or dangerous in the vicinity.
