President Donald Trump has announced the organization of a large rally in Washington, D.C., scheduled for later this month to celebrate the United States’ 250th anniversary. This announcement was made via a post on Truth Social, with the event described as a “rally to end all rallies.” The rally is set for Wednesday, June 24, at 7 P.M., in Washington, D.C.

In his post, Trump emphasized the city’s beauty and safety, promising a rally that he claims will be unparalleled. He stated, “It will be special at every level. We don’t want singers with no talent, but big fees to put you to sleep. All we want is you, me, a few speakers, and the greatest music ever played, the same music you have listened to for years.”

The DC Freedom 250 event is expected to include guest speakers and musical performances. This comes after Trump suggested replacing a planned Freedom 250 concert with a MAGA rally due to several performers withdrawing from the event. Previously, Trump had suggested discarding the Freedom 250 concerts, which are part of the Great American State Fair scheduled to run from June 25 to July 10 at the National Mall.

Freedom 250, a nonprofit aligned with Trump, is organizing the fair in collaboration with the White House Task Force 250. Even though Freedom 250 announced Trump would be headlining the opening ceremony, several artists such as Martina McBride, Bret Michaels, Young MC, The Commodores, and Morris Day decided not to participate. However, Vanilla Ice has confirmed his commitment to perform.

In an interview, Vanilla Ice mentioned he is fully committed to the event and that the criticism of the performers has reinforced his determination to participate. Trump also shared that country singer Lee Greenwood would introduce him at the rally and perform his song “God Bless the U.S.A.” Opera singer Christopher Macchio is slated to sing several songs, including “Nessun Dorma,” “Hallelujah,” “Ave Maria,” and “God Bless America.”

Additionally, there will be performances by various military ensembles, including the U.S. Army Band ‘Pershing’s Own,’ Armed Forces Choir, and ‘The President’s Own’ United States Marine Band. Trump mentioned, “The Rally will also be featuring the wonderful U.S. Army Band ‘Pershing’s Own’ and Armed Forces Choir, and ‘The President’s Own’ United States Marine Band, with the Joint Armed Forces Chorus, all of your favorite hits, PLUS a fine and highly dignified gentleman known as, President DONALD J.
