A controversy arose when the Trump administration used a song by Ariana Grande in a social media video. The video depicted Immigration and Customs Inspection arrests, leading to a public backlash from the singer.
White House spokesperson Abigail Jackson responded to Grande’s criticism by emphasizing the administration’s stance on criminal illegal aliens. She stated that the truly inhumane actions are those committed by illegal immigrants who harm American citizens.
The 32-year-old artist expressed her disapproval after learning her song “Bye” was used in a TikTok video. In the video, President Trump’s administration claimed to have secured the nation’s borders. Grande commented harshly against this use, advising, “please do not ever use my music in relation to this barbaric, inhumane, heinous nonsense.”

The sound has since been removed from the controversial video. Last September, Grande shared concerns about the treatment of immigrants, indicating that families were being violently separated.
Grande has a history of opposing policies from the Trump administration. She attended the Women’s March in 2017 and spoke out on social media against the transgender bathroom ban introduced early in Trump’s presidency. The artist also used a protest sign that questioned the justice system regarding deportation and election crimes, referencing Trump’s conviction related to the Stormy Daniels case.
Grande previously showed support for leaders like Kamala Harris and performed for Barack Obama at the White House in 2014.
Fox News Digital attempted to contact Grande’s representatives for comments on the matter.
