Carpentersville Rotary Blind Flights Fundraiser
The Carpentersville Rotary Club invites community members to its Blind Flights beer tasting fundraiser. This event is scheduled from 1 to 5 p.m. on Saturday, July 11. It will take place at Carpenter Park, located at 275 Maple Ave., Carpentersville.
Attendees can look forward to sampling beer from nine local establishments. Live music will accompany the tasting experience, and food will be available for purchase from No Manches and Duke’s Blues-N-BBQ.

Benefit Concert for Anderson Humane
A concert celebrating Anderson Humane’s 60th anniversary will be held from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, July 12. The event will take place at the St. Charles Motorcycle Museum & Art Gallery, located at 1317 E. Main St., St. Charles.
Performing artists include The Bare Hambones, Rishi Maze, Saturday Morning Punk Rock Club, and Little King Trashmouth. The event will feature raffles, a cash bar, and free museum admission. Fox River Trolley Museum ‘All Aboard Days’
The Fox River Trolley Museum is hosting “All Aboard Days” specifically designed for individuals with special needs. These sensory-friendly trolley rides are offered from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sundays, July 12 and August 9.
The museum, located at 365 S. La Fox St., South Elgin, provides a modified sensory-friendly area in its Wayne depot. A special quiet train will be available too. Regular admission rates apply. Free Concert at Lords Park Zoo
Chamber Music on the Fox will present The Outset Trio in a free concert from noon to 1 p.m. on Monday, July 13, at Lords Park Zoo, situated at 325 Hiawatha Drive, Elgin.
The concert will feature compositions by Mark O’Connor, blending bluegrass, country, jazz, and classical music elements. The Outset Trio includes violin, viola, and double bass performers.
