Reddick details his intense competition with road course expert Shane van Gisbergen at COTA and shares insights into the strategic execution that led to his win. He also reflects on his viral 3-peat photo tribute to team owner Michael Jordan, the growing confidence within the team, and how these achievements set the expectations for the remainder of the season.

Carolina Hurricanes Even Stanley Cup Series

The Carolina Hurricanes have leveled the Stanley Cup Final, thanks to Jordan Staal’s two goals against the Las Vegas Golden Knights. The Hurricanes won Game 4, 5-3, tying the series at 2-2. They’ll face off again in Game 5 at Carolina’s Lenovo Center.

Jordan Staal made history by scoring a goal in each of the first four games of the Stanley Cup Final, becoming the first player in 44 years to achieve this feat. His performance was crucial in breaking the 3-3 tie in the third period. The Hurricanes’ defense and goalie Brandon Bussi’s timely saves secured the win. Bussi stepped in over Frederik Anderson, making seven saves against the Golden Knights.

The Hurricanes controlled much of the first period, scoring three goals to Vegas’s one, scored by captain Mark Stone. Jackson Blake and Logan Stankoven contributed goals, with Blake receiving assists from Taylor Hall and Nikolaj Ehlers.

Despite the Hurricanes’ lead after the first period, Vegas reminded them that no lead is secure. William Karlsson and Brett Howden scored in the second period to even the score. Ultimately, Jordan Staal’s performance reinforced his leadership role within the team.
