Late Tuesday night, two men were shot and injured in Miami, according to local police. The incident occurred shortly before 10 p.m. when officers responded to an audio alert system that detects gunshots in the area.

Authorities arrived at Northwest Fifth Avenue, between Sixth and Seventh streets, and discovered the two men who had been shot. Emergency services transported them to Jackson Memorial Hospital.

The victims are in their 20s to 30s and were reported to be in critical condition by Miami Fire Rescue. Police have not yet provided any updates on their condition as they continue their investigation into the circumstances leading to the shooting.
