Travis Kelce recently spoke about his wedding with Taylor Swift during a Kansas City Chiefs training camp news conference. The event occurred more than a month ago, featuring a guest list of approximately 1,100 attendees.
Kelce described the off-season as enjoyable. He expressed gratitude to everyone who shared their special day, stating, “The wedding was the best night of my life, and I appreciate everybody who came out and celebrated and had fun with us.” Guests had previously signed non-disclosure agreements to keep most details undisclosed.
He is not the first family member to share insights. Sister-in-law Kylie Kelce spoke about how emotional Jason Kelce, Travis’s brother, became during the ceremony. She mentioned that Jason shed more tears at this wedding than his own.
The wedding’s location, Madison Square Garden in New York, held significant meaning for Travis Kelce. It has been a venue where icons from sports and music have made their mark. Kelce remarked on Swift attending the Knicks Finals, describing his desire to witness a playoff game at the venue he now cherishes.
“MSG, man,” Kelce mentioned, referring to missing out on the game while unfolding mini camp duties.
Kelce expressed his excitement about realizing a childhood dream by having his wedding at this iconic venue. He acknowledged the staff for accommodating their privacy requests, noting the exceptional air conditioning.
As a 36-year-old athlete coming off a 2026 Super Bowl victory, Kelce looks forward to the upcoming NFL season. Reflecting on the wedding, he said, “It was a crazy night. It was full of a lot of celebration, but it’s football, baby.”
