A recent graduate from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business in Indianapolis was tragically killed last Thursday. Brett Scrogham, aged 23, lost his life due to a violent crime.

Scrogham had planned to attend an Indianapolis Indians baseball game with his family. He parked his car in a public garage downtown. Witnesses heard a gunshot and saw a man fleeing the scene. Police arrived to find Scrogham injured. Despite efforts, he succumbed to his injuries by Saturday, according to police reports.

Scrogham had been recognized as one of the top 100 undergraduate students at Indiana University Indianapolis. He had expressed his gratitude on LinkedIn for the opportunities the Kelley School of Business provided. He was employed as a development analyst at a commercial real-estate company.
