TNA’s Lockdown Event Set to Thrill in Chicago

Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) is gearing up for a monumental event as it hosts Lockdown at the Credit I Union Arena in Chicago, marking its first occurrence since 2016 and its return to pay-per-view status since 2014. Each match at Lockdown will unfold within a steel cage, promising unforgettable moments for fans.

Lockdown is scheduled to begin at 5 p.m. ET and can be viewed on TNA+, with pre-show matches available for free on TNA’s digital platforms.

Before the eagerly awaited event, Nic and Ryan Nemeth of Total Nonstop Action Wrestling made waves by delivering the ceremonial first pitch in an MLB game between the Arizona Diamondbacks and the Pittsburgh Pirates at Chase Field in Phoenix, Arizona.

Avery Styles, son of renowned WWE and TNA star A.J. Styles, is also poised to appear at Lockdown, as announced by TNA on Saturday. Although Styles has only recently entered the professional wrestling arena, having appeared solely in Game Changer Wrestling until now, his role in Lockdown remains a mystery.

Pre-show Matches

The night’s pre-show encompasses two enthralling matches alongside a dark match:

  • BDE alongside Rich Swann will confront The Righteous (Vincent and Dutch).
  • Special Agent 0 will face off against Trey Miguel.

Meanwhile, Joe Alonzo is set to challenge The Home Town Man for the AAW Heavyweight Championship in the dark match. Should Alonzo retain his title, he will secure a contract with TNA.

Predictions suggest The Righteous will prevail, as will Trey Miguel, with Alonzo likely to succeed against The Home Town Man.
