A new video reveals a missing North Carolina mother’s possible entry into the water near her resort in Grenada. Elizabeth “Liz” Waddell, age 43, vanished on July 22. Last seen on Grand Anse Beach, she had been vacationing for three weeks with a friend when she went missing after a swim, according to police.

Surveillance footage shared on YouTube, likely depicting Waddell, shows a person walking near a pool with a towel. Shortly afterward, this person is seen moving toward the water and possibly jumping in to swim. This video, obtained from an Airbnb property’s cameras, might capture the last moments before her disappearance.

In a statement, Liz’s husband, Cailen Waddell, expressed profound efforts to locate her. Despite extensive collaboration with family, local authorities, and the U.S. Embassy in Grenada, he believes—with authorities—that there was no foul play involved.

Cailen has been actively searching alongside local authorities in Grenada since arriving two days post his wife’s disappearance.

During a recent press briefing, Randy Connaught, commissioner of the Royal Grenada Police Force, stated that no conclusions have been reached. Intense efforts have been made, employing dive teams, drones, and search dogs, yet traces of Waddell remain undiscovered. The ongoing investigation sees detectives following various leads and encourages anyone with potential information to step forward.
