Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs Engages in Prison Altercation

Sean “Diddy” Combs, a once-prominent music mogul, has landed in solitary confinement following a physical altercation at the Federal Correctional Institution in Fort Dix, New Jersey. The incident occurred when another inmate allegedly insulted Combs, leading to a verbal conflict that quickly escalated into a physical fight, as reported by TMZ. Witnesses indicated that both parties engaged in shoving and exchanging blows until security personnel intervened and separated them.

Sources noted that Combs managed to defend himself during the scuffle, which resulted in the decision to place him in solitary confinement. It remains uncertain whether he is still there as of Friday morning.

The Federal Correctional Institution stated, “We are not at liberty to disclose or provide internal information pertaining to any inmate in our custody.” This implies that any additional details remain unavailable to the public.

Combs is serving a 50-month sentence after being found guilty in July 2025. His conviction stemmed from two counts related to transportation for the purpose of engaging in prostitution, following a federal sex trafficking trial in New York. This legal trouble began when he was arrested at a hotel in Midtown in the prior year, shortly after his ex-girlfriend, Cassandra “Cassie” Ventura, accused him of rape and abusive behavior over many years. Although this matter was swiftly settled, it led to numerous other allegations against him, currently totaling over 100 civil lawsuits.

Combs is scheduled for release from prison in February 2028, depending on his ability to maintain good behavior while incarcerated. The impact of this recent brawl on his release date remains to be seen.
