Roxanne Perez Triumphs at Triplemania 34

In Las Vegas, Roxanne Perez successfully claimed the No. 1 contender position for the AAA Reina de Reinas Championship during Triplemania 34. The event, held at MGM Grand Garden Arena, saw Perez outlast WWE’s Nattie and AAA stars La Hiedra and Faby Apache.

Perez’s determination and strategy paid off as she pinned La Hiedra after executing her signature Pop Rox maneuver, despite facing early alliance challenges from her opponents. This victory grants her a title match at the upcoming Worlds Collide event against either Flammer, the current champion, or La Catalina, who are scheduled to compete for the championship on Night 2 in Mexico City.

Perez Responds to Intense Competition

The match was intense from the outset, with Perez needing to fend off multiple attempts by her competitors to eliminate her. At one point, Flammer intervened, appearing to assist La Hiedra, but Perez managed to turn the situation to her advantage.

Post-match, tensions flared between La Hiedra and Flammer, leading to a heated exchange in the ring. Regardless, Perez is now gearing up for her chance to become Reina de Reinas champion.

Comments Ahead of the Match

Perez had emphasized her awareness of the competition she faced. Her respect for her opponents’ legacies in wrestling was clear, acknowledging Natalya’s role as a trailblazer in WWE and Faby Apache’s legendary status in Lucha Libre.

She revealed her motivation and focus ahead of the contest: “I have a big opportunity right in front of me that I know I’m gonna take… every woman… is a legend in all different aspects,” she commented.

Perez believes her decade-long wrestling career, marked by challenges and growth, has prepared her for this pivotal opportunity.
