NFL legend Rob Gronkowski recently shared his admiration for Caitlin Clark, offering her advice to keep silencing critics with her impressive play. In an interview with Fox News Digital, Gronkowski commended her handling of the public discourse surrounding her.

Gronkowski stated, “She’s doing a great job handling herself. She really is. I’m not in her shoes, but if I were, I would handle it similarly.” He emphasized the importance of Clark continuing to excel in her game to quiet detractors.

“Keep balling because if you keep balling, you’re going to keep shutting up the haters,” Gronkowski advised.

Recently, the Indiana Fever have triumphed in their last four games, with Clark averaging over 30 points per game during this winning streak. Her teammates Kelsey Mitchell and Aliyah Boston have also significantly contributed to the team’s success.

Gronkowski praised Clark’s teammates, highlighting their role in supporting her throughout the season. “What I do appreciate is her teammates. They’re going to lift you up, protect you, and that says a lot about you,” he shared.

He believes Clark has the potential to become the face of the WNBA once the league addresses the harsh fouls she’s been subjected to and she achieves notable victories. “I think she’ll be the face of the league once she keeps playing well and wins something significant,” Gronkowski mentioned.

Gronkowski, known for his NFL success, considers himself a casual WNBA fan. He noted that becoming the face of a league typically requires several years of experience, referencing standards in the NFL and NBA.

As a four-time Super Bowl champion, Gronkowski enjoyed a remarkable career with the New England Patriots and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, tallying 621 receptions for 9,286 yards and 92 touchdowns.

Clark and the Fever aim to continue their strong performance as they face the Portland Fire this Friday at 10 p.m. ET.
