Presley Gerber, son of Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber, passed away at the age of 27 in a rehabilitation center in Los Angeles. The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s office reported that the cause of death is currently “deferred” pending further investigation. An examination was planned for Monday, as confirmed by the medical examiner.
The Santa Monica Police Department is treating the incident as a “suspected overdose,” according to a release. Police officers responded to a call about a possible overdose at approximately 9:35 a.m. on Sunday, September 20. Upon arrival, they found an adult male, later identified as Presley Gerber, deceased at the scene.
Authorities have stated that there are no immediate signs of foul play, but the investigation remains open. The official determination of the cause and manner of death will be made by the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner.
Presley Gerber was the only son of Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber and had an older sibling, Kaia Gerber, a model and actress. The family has requested privacy during this difficult and painful time.
