Bode Miller Arrested on Drug Charges

Olympic gold medalist Bode Miller was recently arrested on drug charges. According to TMZ Sports, Miller faces charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Following his arrest, Miller was released on a $5,000 bond.

Court Appearance Scheduled

Miller has pleaded not guilty to the charges. He is scheduled to appear in court on July 29.

Olympic Achievements

Miller’s Olympic career began at the 2002 Salt Lake City Games, where he earned two silver medals. Although he didn’t place in the 2006 Italy Games, he returned strong in 2010. Miller claimed his first gold in the super-combined event and added a silver in Super-G and a bronze in downhill. He won another bronze in Super-G during the 2014 Sochi Games and retired from alpine skiing in 2017.

World Championships and World Cup Victories

Beyond the Olympics, Miller achieved significant success by winning four World Championship golds and 33 World Cup races. He is recognized as the most successful male American alpine skier. In 2001, he competed in the Men’s Combined Slalom at the World Ski Championship in Austria. He also won the skiing World Cup in 2005 and 2008, demonstrating his versatility with at least five wins in each discipline.
