North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) F-16 fighter jets intercepted several aircraft over Bedminster, New Jersey, on Sunday. These planes reportedly violated temporary flight restrictions in the area.
The 1st Air Force’s Air Forces Northern stated that two aircraft were involved in the incident. NORAD aircraft safely escorted the general aviation planes out of the restricted zone.
Temporary flight restrictions had been established over the Bedminster area with the expectation of President Trump spending time at his golf club there.
