Ms. Rachel, also known as Rachel Accurso, has become a prominent figure in children’s entertainment. Known for her distinctive pink headband and singsong voice, she has captivated millions of toddlers worldwide. Her YouTube channel, “Songs for Littles,” launched in 2019, has amassed over 17.2 billion views. It features gentle, repetitive, and interactive songs and lessons.

Ms. Rachel and her husband, Aron Accurso, started their channel after struggling to find resources for their son who had a speech delay. Initially creating videos in a makeshift home studio, they have grown their channel into a successful business. Aron, a Broadway composer, noted their humble beginnings, making videos in his parent’s basement using stacked books as a tripod.

Outside of YouTube, Ms. Rachel’s influence extends to books, Netflix, toy stores, and now music. She is set to release an album titled I’m So Happy on September 25, featuring a mix of original songs, children’s favorites, and nursery rhymes. Her aim is to provide children with rich, thoughtfully composed music using real instruments.

As Ms. Rachel’s audience expands, so does her role in advocacy. She actively supports children affected by war and humanitarian crises in regions like Gaza, Ukraine, and Sudan. She believes it is essential for adults to ensure children have safe homes and adequate food.

Ms. Rachel’s advocacy has not been without controversy. In 2025, accusations of antisemitism arose, leading to calls for investigation, although these claims were deemed unfounded. Despite facing scrutiny and potential threats to her family and business, Ms. Rachel remains focused on her mission to help children.
