MJF made a significant comeback to All Elite Wrestling on Wednesday night during Grand Slam in Mexico. After Andrade El Idolo secured a victory in a triple-threat match, claiming the No. 1 spot in the casino gauntlet match at the upcoming All In event, MJF emerged from the crowd. He attacked Andrade using the Triple B AEW World Championship and reclaimed his Dynamite Diamond Ring.

MJF left Andrade bloodied, announcing emphatically to the AEW locker room that the Triple B AEW World Championship is the only legitimate title. He declared his intention to win the championship, currently held by Kenny Omega, in the upcoming casino gauntlet match.

“Next week we’re in Vegas and I’m feeling lucky,” MJF proclaimed. “There’s a gauntlet qualifying match for the casino gauntlet at All In for the No. 2 spot. I will enter and win that match, then go to Wembley to defeat Andrade again.”

MJF plans to win the contract again and replicate his previous success. The winner of the casino gauntlet match secures a future AEW World Championship opportunity. Last year at All In, MJF won the match in Texas, which led to his challenge against Adam Page for the AEW title at Forbidden Door.

Although he didn’t reclaim the title until Worlds End in December, and briefly lost it to Darby Allin, he regained it at Double or Nothing. Omega then defeated MJF at AEW Dynamite: Beach Break in July. Since then, MJF has been off the scene but is eager to compete in the casino gauntlet for a potential fourth reign.
