Milania Giudice, the third daughter of Teresa Giudice from the popular show Real Housewives of New Jersey, encountered legal troubles last month due to an assault charge. According to Chief Andrew Caggiano, officers from the Montville Township Police Department responded to a dispute on May 14.
Police records indicated that Milania was detained at 6:12 p.m. She faced a charge of Simple Assault, a violation classified as a Disorderly Persons Offense under New Jersey law. Milania has pleaded not guilty and awaits a court appearance in the coming month.
The incident highlights that a criminal complaint serves as an accusation, with the individual presumed innocent until proven guilty in court, Chief Caggiano emphasized in his statement.
Milania, who has appeared alongside her mother in multiple episodes of the reality TV show, has yet to receive a public comment from her representatives regarding the arrest. Milania is one of four daughters shared by Teresa and her ex-husband Joe Giudice.
Teresa and Joe underwent separation in December 2019, with their divorce finalized by September 2020. The couple had been married for two decades. Teresa remarried Louis Ruelas in August 2022, bringing a new chapter to her life following years marked by legal challenges.
Both Teresa and Joe faced legal scrutiny when they pleaded guilty to 41 counts of fraud. Teresa served a 15-month prison sentence following a plea agreement in 2014 for charges related to fraudulent loan applications. Her release from the Federal Correctional Institution in Danbury occurred in December 2015.
Joe completed his sentence at the Allenwood Federal Prison in March 2019. Post-sentence, he encountered issues with immigration leading to deportation proceedings. He chose to return to Italy after his release from detention, continuing to appeal the deportation.
