Margot Robbie was recently seen filming a new movie in Saint-Tropez, France. The 36-year-old actress wore a 1960s-style blue bikini, complete with a matching high-waisted bottom. She was joined by Bradley Cooper for the production, which serves as a prequel to the 2001 comedy heist film “Ocean’s Eleven.” Originally starring Brad Pitt, George Clooney, and Julia Roberts, the new installment focuses on Danny Ocean’s parents.
Robbie and Cooper portray the parents, aiming to execute a heist at the 1962 Monaco Grand Prix. Robbie shared at CinemaCon in July, “Before Danny Ocean ever stepped foot in Vegas, two masterminds taught him everything he knows — his parents. You’ll see them in their prime, and, in our new movie, pulling off an epic heist at the 1962 Monaco Grand Prix,” according to Variety.
The cast includes Academy Award-nominated actor Wagner Moura, Josh Gad, and Academy Award-nominated actress Monica Barbaro. Cooper contributes as a writer and director, while Robbie’s company, LuckyChap Entertainment, is producing the film. Robbie’s husband, Tom Ackerley, partners with her in managing the company.
Robbie gained prominence from her role in the 2013 film “The Wolf of Wall Street” with Leonardo DiCaprio. Since then, she has maintained a strong presence in Hollywood. Speaking to Variety for its January 2026 issue, Robbie indicated changes in how she interacts with the industry over time.
“Earlier in my career, I’d speak more freely in interviews. I’ve just been burnt so many times, when people have taken what I’ve said out of context. And I read stuff all the time where people put me in quotation marks saying things I’ve never said,” she explained. Robbie added that she needed to find acceptance in these challenges.
Her personal life also influences her professional boundaries. After becoming a mother in October 2024, Robbie decided to keep certain aspects of her life private, including details about her son, whose name and images are not publicly shared. Robbie mentioned, “I’m trying to keep that side of things private and protect him.” This has led her to establish new boundaries post-motherhood.
