A 40-year-old man was arrested after an argument led to a stabbing incident in the Englewood neighborhood of Chicago, according to police.
The confrontation occurred shortly before 2 a.m. inside a residence located in the 7200 block of South Hoyne Avenue. During the dispute, the man reportedly attacked a 45-year-old woman with a sharp object, causing injuries to her neck and abdomen.
Following the attack, the suspect fled but was swiftly apprehended by law enforcement officers. The victim was transported to UChicago Medicine, where she remains in good condition.
Authorities are currently investigating the matter, with charges against the suspect still pending.
