An online influencer known as Clavicular is under criminal investigation in Massachusetts. Braden Peters, 20, faces charges of rape and drugging with intent, alongside an alcohol-related misdemeanor, according to court records obtained by Fox News Digital.
The allegations arise from an event in May 2025 at Peters’ family home on Cape Cod. A woman accused Peters of getting her intoxicated and sexually assaulting her when she was 17. She met Peters on Instagram and traveled to his home to create content related to “looksmaxxing,” a trend focused on enhancing physical appearance.
According to court documents, Peters arranged her ride to the house via Uber. While livestreaming on Twitch, Peters allegedly urged the woman to pretend she was 18 and to use code words for alcohol to avoid account suspension. Video clips reportedly show the woman claiming to be drunk before kissing Peters. She asserts they had sex, and she awoke to another non-consensual encounter.
Authorities believed she couldn’t consent due to her intoxication, leading to charges being filed on September 8. Peters is due to be arraigned on October 14.
Mitchell Jackson, representing Peters, challenged these claims, noting a civil lawsuit filed against Peters which did not initially include sexual assault charges. Peters claimed through social media and documented communications that the allegations were false.
The alleged victim reported the incident in June 2026, over a year later. She initially withheld her experience due to embarrassment and personal circumstances. Police corroborated some details using Uber records and attempted without success to reach Peters by phone.
This case is not Peters’ first encounter with the law. Earlier this year, he faced charges in Florida for firing a gun at a deceased alligator and for involvement in a recorded fight at an Airbnb.
Peters developed a substantial online following, often posting about looksmaxxing. His activities have sparked legal issues, with several charges and investigations ongoing.
