Laura Ingraham has raised concerns about what she describes as ‘anti-ICE theater.’ She begins with details of a fatal ICE shooting in Maine. Ingraham criticizes the Biden administration’s initial decision to pause vehicular stops. This decision was quickly reversed by former President Trump.
Ingraham also targets Democrats such as AOC and Gavin Newsom. She accuses them of encouraging illegal aliens to evade arrest. This, she argues, increases dangers for ICE agents and American citizens.
Concert Incident Sparks DHS Response
Hayley Williams made anti-ICE comments during a concert, prompting DHS to issue a defense of its officers.
During a recent solo concert, Paramore’s Hayley Williams made political statements. She shouted “F— ICE!” and “Free Palestine!” at a venue in Chula Vista, California. The Department of Homeland Security responded by defending federal immigration officers. They urged Williams to acknowledge the service of these officers.
Williams has included these sentiments in her performances throughout her 2026 tour. She previously voiced opposition to ICE and Republican figures, including Donald Trump. At the 2024 iHeartRadio Music Festival, Williams urged voters to oppose Trump’s campaign. She warned against his agenda, highlighting the need to vote.
DHS Reports Increased Assaults on ICE Personnel
The Department of Homeland Security noted a sharp increase in attacks on ICE personnel. Between January 2025 and September 2026, there were 647 recorded assaults. This is a significant rise compared to 37 assaults from January 2021 to September 2022.
DHS Secretary Markwayne Mullin emphasized the dangers faced by ICE agents. He highlighted the increase in assaults after President Trump reinforced ICE’s operational mandate. Mullin stated that ICE agents are under constant threat while enforcing laws.
