Luka Doncic and his Los Angeles Lakers teammates encountered media scrutiny during a team-building trip to Slovenia. The players visited a restaurant in Ljubljana, which also operates as a nightclub. Their visit was reported by Slovenian outlet Nedeljski dnevnik.

The event included Doncic, Bronny James, Austin Reeves, and Maxi Kleber, who were seen together during an NBA playoff game against the Houston Rockets. Strict rules were enforced at the exclusive gathering. Attendees were prohibited from taking pictures or videos, and stickers were placed over phone cameras.

Adding to the intrigue, Slovenian model Anja Jenko, known for her Playboy cover in 2014, was present. However, there were no indications of interaction between her and the players.

The team’s visit was primarily a business trip focusing on bonding among players. Slovenian media noted that the basketball players spent most of their time together, strengthening their team dynamics.

The gathering also spotlighted Luka Doncic’s personal challenges, such as dealing with personal issues and maintaining fitness for the NBA season. Despite these challenges, the absence of LeBron James from the Lakers did not deter Doncic from engaging with his teammates in his home country.

The media attention surrounding the event was perceived as disproportionate. The presence of a former Playboy model did not alter the focus of the team’s activities, which were centered on building camaraderie within the team.
