Former Vice President Kamala Harris delivered a strong critique of the Trump administration at a recent Democratic fireside chat. She described it as the ‘most corrupt, callous, and incompetent’ presidential administration in history. In contrast, Fox News contributor Joe Concha labeled her comments as ‘dangerous.’ He referenced past ‘assassination attempts’ on President Trump and urged caution, suggesting her rhetoric might incite political violence.
Security concerns around Harris were highlighted when Los Angeles sheriff’s deputies responded to her Malibu residence. A woman reportedly arrived uninvited at the $8 million property on Friday night. After being dropped off by an Uber, she attempted to contact security but was asked to leave. She returned later, prompting security to notify authorities after 10 p.m., according to the California Post.
Despite the incident, Fox 11 reported that the woman was not arrested. The sheriff’s department, led by Lt. Jason Duron, has increased patrols around the property for added safety. Eduardo Negrón, a spokesman for Harris, stated that security stopped the individual before reaching Harris and Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff’s home. He expressed gratitude for the quick response from law enforcement.
Enhancements in Security Measures
Harris, originally from California, served as District Attorney of San Francisco and Attorney General of California before becoming a U.S. senator. President Donald Trump had ended Harris’ extended Secret Service detail a year ago after it was prolonged by former President Joe Biden. The couple had recently purchased the Malibu residence.
The situation mirrors a similar incident involving former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi. An individual who broke into her San Francisco home in 2022 and attacked her husband received a life sentence without parole.
Fox News Digital has reached out to the sheriff’s department and Harris’ representatives for further comments.
