WWE Hall of Famer John Bradshaw Layfield, known as JBL, is entering the social media scene after years in professional wrestling. He joins BZZR, a new platform aiming to connect sports fans while eliminating irrelevant content. BZZR has attracted several well-known wrestling personalities, including MVP, Kayla Becker, and Dwayne Swayze.
JBL shared with Fox News Digital his reason for partnering with BZZR: his favorite baseball team, the Texas Rangers, collaborates with the platform. Layfield expressed his passion for the Rangers, influenced by his late grandfather’s love for the team. “My grandfather listened to the Rangers on the radio, and I’d join him,” he recalled. The association with his favorite team drew JBL’s interest in BZZR.
“BZZR seems like a great platform,” JBL commented. “I’m glad to be involved.”
Layfield highlighted BZZR’s focus on sports-centric content. The platform brands itself as the first social media service exclusively for sports discussion, free from unrelated commentary. JBL supports BZZR’s requirement for users to provide their real names and photos, removing anonymity that often results in negative interactions.
JBL earned recognition as the 20th Triple Crown and 10th Grand Slam champion in WWE history. He also transitioned into commentary for AAA Lucha Libre Worldwide.
