A skydiver carrying a large American flag crashed into a crowded hospitality tent during a major Fourth of July event at the Folsom Pro Rodeo near Sacramento, California. The mishap occurred as the skydiver appeared to lose control during landing.
“On behalf of the Folsom Pro Rodeo and Choose Folsom, our skydiver Ross is safe and walked into our arena, post jump to a standing ovation,” event organizers said.
The skydiver’s flag became entangled in a tree, causing the parachutist to fall face-first into the tent. Spectators in the stands were struck by his parachute, although no injuries were reported.
Bridge Fire Disrupts New York Fireworks Display

President Donald Trump announced that his speech would proceed, reopening the site at 9:45 p.m. Images showed crowds waiting at security checkpoints to reenter. The U.S. Secret Service mandated a second security screening for everyone.
“Everyone who evacuated the site will go through screening again. The Secret Service is working to make screening as smooth as possible,” said the agency.
