DK Metcalf Discusses Conspiracy Theories and Hollow Earth Beliefs

DK Metcalf and his quarterback Aaron Rodgers share a unique connection beyond the football field. As teammates of the Pittsburgh Steelers, they’ve been bonding over their interest in conspiracy theories. Metcalf recently expressed his belief in an interview with The Athletic that there may be another civilization operating inside the Earth.

According to Metcalf, the lack of commercial accessibility to Antarctica supports this theory. He questions why trips there are not readily available, suggesting that access is restricted. Metcalf commented, “You can go to Alaska. You could go to the North Pole. But why not Antarctica?”

However, as The Athletic noted, tourism to Antarctica is possible between November and March, though travel is largely restricted to ships, with no commercial airports and controlled flights managed by governments.

Metcalf also pointed to international meetings allegedly occurring in Antarctica. He wonders why such gatherings happen specifically there, although The Athletic clarified there is no confirmed evidence of these meetings.

Despite these assertions, Metcalf’s interest in conspiracy theories predates his partnership with Rodgers. He remarked, “Nah, I’ve been on it,” indicating he was already intrigued by such topics before joining the team.

The wide receiver’s fascination with theories like the Hollow Earth persists, and his conversations with Rodgers have seemingly reinforced their camaraderie. Some may remain skeptical, but Metcalf’s enthusiasm for exploring these ideas is clear.
