The Dallas Cowboys have finalized a three-year contract extension with defensive tackle Quinnen Williams. This agreement will make him one of the highest-paid players at his position entering the 2026 NFL season. The extension is valued at $105.9 million, with $101 million guaranteed and $63.35 million guaranteed at signing. Additionally, Williams will receive a signing bonus of $31.85 million.

The New York Jets, amidst a challenging season, traded Williams and fellow standout Sauce Gardner to reconfigure their roster. This move came after the Jets had previously extended Williams’ contract in 2023 for four years, totaling $96 million with $66 million guaranteed. In exchange for Williams, the Jets received a 2026 second-round pick, a 2027 first-round pick, and defensive tackle Mazi Smith.
With his new contract, Williams joins the ranks of other top-paid defensive tackles, including Jalen Carter, Jeffery Simmons, and Chris Jones. The Cowboys have also invested in their defense by securing fellow tackle Osa Odighizuwa with a four-year, $80 million extension.
The Cowboys’ defense now boasts key players like Kenny Clark and Rashan Gary, adding depth and strength to match their offensive power under head coach Brian Schottenheimer. Last season, Williams contributed significantly with 21 combined tackles, 1.5 sacks, three tackles for loss, and nine quarterback hits in seven games with Dallas.
Throughout his career, Williams has accumulated impressive stats, including 343 combined tackles, 62 tackles for loss, 41.5 sacks, and eight forced fumbles. His outstanding 2022 season with the Jets earned him a First Team All-Pro selection.
