Court Orders Payment in Robert Wone Wrongful-Death Case

The case surrounding the 2006 killing of attorney Robert Wone resurfaced in court recently. A D.C. Superior Court judge ruled in favor of the Wone estate concerning a settlement issue in a wrongful-death suit.

Robert Wone, who was 32 at the time of his death, was killed in Dupont Circle. The Wone estate had filed a complaint to ensure that former defendants in the wrongful-death case fulfill their financial obligations under a previous settlement agreement.

Robert Wone’s family continues to seek justice and closure for the tragic events that occurred two decades ago. The latest court decision is a step towards addressing the unresolved financial aspects of the case.
