A brush fire broke out in the Burbank hills on Saturday afternoon, prompting quick action from local fire and police departments. The blaze began near Wildwood Canyon and Harvard Road at approximately 3:20 p.m.

Burbank firefighters faced the Walnut fire, which burned close to DeBell Golf Club and Wildwood Canyon Park. The affected areas were evacuated promptly to ensure public safety.

Officials announced temporary closures for DeBell Restaurant and Golf Course and the Stough Canyon Nature Center. All hiking trails in the affected region are off-limits until further notice. Additionally, the Starlight Bowl concert, scheduled for August 8, has been canceled due to safety concerns.

The fire has consumed around 20 acres as of the latest update. Response teams continue fighting to contain the blaze and prevent further spread.
