Miley Cyrus recently marked a significant milestone in her career by receiving a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The 33-year-old singer and actress attended the event in a striking black Versace dress. The outfit featured a form-fitting design with a halter neckline, sheer cutouts, and intricate lace patterns strategically placed.
Cyrus complemented her dress with simple accessories, including a few bracelets and a ring. She wore her blonde hair sleek and opted for a makeup look with dark smoky eyes and natural lipstick.
During her acceptance speech, Cyrus emphasized the dedication behind earning her star. As reported by E! News, she expressed, “What feels so special to me about this star is that it’s an accumulation of devotion. The star isn’t something that you win like a seasonal game. It’s not something you chase or collect. It’s not something you make the next record for and then tote it around like a trophy.” She added, “My name is laid in gold and pink terrazzo, and it’s fierce, and it’s fun, and it’s fabulous.”
The event was attended by notable figures including her fiancé Maxx Morando, her mother Tish, sister Brandi, designer Donatella Versace, and actress Anya Taylor-Joy. Both Versace and Taylor-Joy honored Cyrus in their speeches. Taylor-Joy remarked on Cyrus’s ability to exceed expectations, stating that she “outran every expectation” and “challenged the rules.”
Cyrus first came into the limelight at age 13 when she starred in the Disney Channel series “Hannah Montana.” She expressed gratitude for her beginnings in the entertainment industry during the Disney Legend Awards Ceremony in 2024, stating, “‘Hannah Montana’ is the beginning for everything I’ve been able to become — the person that I’ve been able become. She is such a part of me and taught me everything that I know.”
Following the show’s conclusion in 2011, Cyrus pursued a successful music career under her own name. She has since released nine albums and won three Grammy Awards. The TV show “Hannah Montana” recently celebrated its 20th anniversary with a special on Disney Plus.
