President Donald Trump attended an event with several Baltimore Ravens players at Tradepoint Atlantic. He praised the site for Anduril Industries’ $3.7 billion “Arsenal-2” high-tech shipyard aimed at manufacturing submarine components.

During his remarks about this billion-dollar project at the 3,300-acre industrial and logistics center in Sparrows Point, Baltimore County, Trump acknowledged four Ravens players who attended on their day off. Players present included four-time Pro Bowl cornerback Marlon Humphrey, kicker Tyler Loop, long snapper Nick Moore, and punter Ryan Eckley.

Ravens Shoutout

Trump highlighted these players individually and praised the Ravens team. “What a team you have this year,” he said, noting their leadership in the AFC North with a 3-1 record.

Before his speech, Trump met with the players personally. During his speech, he signaled them out in the audience, asking them to stand and acknowledging each one.

Special Mention for Nick Moore

Trump particularly acknowledged Moore, the oldest of the group and a vital yet less-famous team member. Joking about his role, Trump said, “They said, ‘No, he’s a snapper.’ You know, nowadays, those long snappers are very valuable.” He recognized Moore’s perfect performance and skill despite his lesser-known status.

Engagement with the Players

As part of the day’s activities, some players joined Trump on a facility tour within the presidential motorcade. Humphrey recorded a video of Trump and Moore discussing a past Super Bowl, which he shared on X, quickly garnering one million views.

Reactions to this encounter ranged in sentiment, causing debates over social issues.

Lamar Jackson’s Absence

Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson was notably absent due to an ankle injury. Trump acknowledged Jackson in his remarks, wishing him well through his teammates. “Say hello to your quarterback,” he instructed them, commending Jackson’s abilities and mentioning past meetings with his mother.

This event provided the Ravens a notable platform at Tradepoint Atlantic, spotlighting the team alongside a key industrial announcement in Maryland.
