Melanie Griffith’s Wellness Retreat in Austria

Melanie Griffith recently shared insights from her tranquil weekend retreat focused on wellness and rejuvenation. In an Instagram post, the 69-year-old actress posted photos from her stay at the Vivamayr Maria Wörth health resort located in Austria. Griffith was seen in a black one-piece swimsuit, lounging on a chair against a backdrop of a serene lake and majestic mountains. Her blonde hair was tied up, and she sported black sunglasses.

Fans were quick to compliment Griffith, with comments such as, “You look amazing, Melanie.” She also shared images of herself wearing denim shorts while on a boat and practicing yoga in a vibrant pink workout outfit. She described the retreat as a chance to recharge and focus on health. “The Cure is an amazing health reset, centered around being good to your body, mind, and soul,” she remarked. She expressed gratitude for the dedicated doctors and therapists who made the experience unique.

“A little heaven on earth.”

Griffith rose to fame in the 1980s with notable films like “Body Double” and “Something Wild,” eventually landing her iconic role in “Working Girl” in 1988. Her acting career seems to be part of the family legacy. Her mother, Tippi Hedren, was a renowned actress, and her daughter, Dakota Johnson, followed the same path.

In previous interviews, Dakota has openly shared how her parents influenced her decision to act. She told Vogue Germany in 2025 that her dream was always to act and be close to the film industry environment she grew up in. As a child, she was captivated by movies, watching classics like ‘Mary Poppins’ and ‘Home Alone’ repetitively, which she believed shaped her imagination.

Despite her Hollywood lineage, Dakota faced her own challenges. Her father, actor Don Johnson, stopped financially supporting her after she skipped college. This decision led to some financially difficult times. In an interview with Elle UK, Dakota explained how she struggled to manage her finances on her own and sometimes needed parental support. She candidly shared the difficulties of the auditioning process and the harshness of financial independence.
